Farhad Siganporia, BCom
Analytics Career Coach
Farhad helps analysts break through the ceiling that technical expertise alone can't break. Whether you're stuck in delivery mode, struggling with stakeholders, or ready to step into leadership, Farhad has been where you are, and knows the way forward.
The analyst who learned to lead — and now teaches others how.
About Farhad
Farhad is a senior Data & Operations Leader with over 20 years of experience across insurance, energy, and the not-for-profit sector. He has led analytics teams through transformations that go far beyond the technical, reshaping how teams think, communicate, and create value for the businesses they serve.
His coaching work is rooted in something most technical training misses: the shift in mindset that turns a great analyst into a trusted business partner or an effective people leader. It is a shift he has made himself, and one he has guided others
through many times over. Available exclusively through Bobbie Beau, Farhad works with analysts at pivotal points in their careers, when they are ready to grow - but are not quite sure which direction to grow in.
Many analysts are brilliant technically but get stuck in a loop of delivering exactly what stakeholders ask for — without ever asking what the question behind the question really is. Farhad helps analysts make the shift from order-takers to strategic partners who shape the conversation.
Analysts and stakeholders often speak completely different languages. Farhad coaches analysts on how to listen for what stakeholders actually need, translate data into the one insight that matters, and build relationships built on trust rather
than transaction.
The most common mistake organisations make is promoting their best analyst into a team leader role. Farhad helps analysts who are ready to lead understand what that transition actually requires — and how to step into it with confidence, clarity, and purpose.
Farhads Journey
Farhad started his career as a hands-on analyst — working with Excel, Microsoft, Access, and Visual Basic to wrangle large datasets for a wide range of customers across contact centres and strategic business units. He was good at it. He was fast,
technical, and focused. But he noticed something. When someone asked for 67 columns of data, he would deliver exactly that — and never ask what they were actually trying to do with it.
The shift that changed everything was learning to ask a different question: not "what do you want?" but "what are you trying to answer, and how does that connect to your larger goals?"
The stakeholder sees a nice graph. Below it are thousands of lines of code and months of data cleaning that the analyst spent their nights on. "My job is to make sure that iceberg is pointed in the right direction.".
That shift opened up his career — taking him from analyst to team leader, to senior business partner, to leading a Data Services function. Along the way, he built a coaching philosophy grounded in a simple truth: analysts already have the dedication, the focus, and the technical depth. What they often need is someone to help them redirect it. That is exactly what Farhad does.
Who This Is For
The analyst stuck in delivery mode. You are technically strong but feel like you are just producing outputs rather than making an impact. You want to be more strategic but are not sure how to get there.
The analyst with stakeholder challenges. You find it frustrating when stakeholders do not understand your work, ask for the wrong things, or do not value what you deliver. You want to change that dynamic.
The analyst ready to lead. You are thinking about stepping into a team leader or people manager role and want to understand what that transition really looks like — and whether you are ready for it.
The analyst navigating a career pivot. You want to move into business partnering, a different type of analytics role, or a different industry altogether — and you need help mapping a realistic path forward.

"A coach doesn't need to be a better golfer than Tiger Woods. But they need to understand the game, understand the player, and know exactly what that player needs to focus on right now."
